About us
Formezitalia has been recently established to assist the Department for Public Administration in coordinating the whole public training system. Following the provisions of Decree 75, approved by the Italian Council of Ministers on December 11th 2009, and concerning the reorganisation of the training sector, in particular of CNIPA (National Centre of Computer Science in Public Administrations), SSPAL (School of Local Public Administration) and Formez (Training and Study Centre), FormezItalia S.p.A. has been designed to promote and manage innovative training processes, to support and implement new staff recruitment and selection procedures for public job positions, and to foster high quality standards of human resources policies and performances within national and local public administrations.
FormezItalia S.p.A., actively promoting vocational training and professional skill-upgrading as strategic means for continuous improvement within public administrations, is mainly committed in:
- Supporting innovative processes for the identification and training of new professionals, and e-recruitment for public administrations;
- Testing new training approaches and methods
- Implementing technologically advanced interactive e-learning platforms
- Fostering the introduction of new internal and external systems of personnel evaluation, and the use of accreditation processes for public structures, with reference to international quality standards
- Assessing the quality of services and training packages offered to public administrations by third parties, verifying the adherence to standard requirements
- Supporting the internationalisation process of Italian public administrations through special training courses and learning packages
- Assisting the Department for Public Administration in coordinating the whole public training system
FormezItalia’s mission, as Research and Training Center, is to enhance the ability of the current and future public service workforce.
